Dave and Sandra Curzon managers of The Keys have worked and lived in the village and are known locally, this has given them the opportunity to talk to local people not only in the village but in surrounding areas to find out exactly what the customers want and need from their local pub and restaurant. They found that customers wanted "The Lancashire Plate" a healthy sized portion with high quality, locally sourced food yet excellent value for money therefore "The Keys" gave them what they were looking for.
