About Us

Dave and Sandra Curzon managers of The Keys have worked and lived in the village and are known locally, this has given them the opportunity to talk to local people not only in the village but in surrounding areas to find out exactly what the customers want and need from their local pub and restaurant. They found that customers wanted “The Lancashire Plate” a healthy sized portion with high quality, locally sourced food yet excellent value for money therefore "The Keys" gave them what they were looking for.

Recently they have brought aboard James Richmond as Head Chef which is improving the quality of the food day by day. James has been in the industry for over 20 years and has served the late Princess Margaret and celebrities such as Alan shearer and many more. Working by his side is his wife Beth who has come in as Assistant Manager concentrating on front of house, working with Sandra on different ideas and events for the pub and restaurant. As Dave, Sandra, James and Beth work together the team is getting stronger and moving The Keys is forward.
